The Indian ring neck parakeet is a sub-species of the rose-ringed parakeet (Psittacula krameri) and the many sub-species are scattered throughout Africa and Asia. The Indian ring neck is an Asian parrot and originally from Ceylon though it is now found in many parts of Asia, notably India and Pakistan. भारतीय रिंगनेक परकेट, गुलाब की अंगूठी वाले पैराकेट (सिटाकुला क्रामेरी) की एक उप-प्रजाति है और कई उप-प्रजातियां पूरे अफ्रीका और एशिया में बिखरी हुई हैं। इंडियन रिंगनेक एक एशियाई तोता है और मूल रूप से सीलोन का है, हालांकि अब यह एशिया के कई हिस्सों में पाया जाता है, विशेष रूप से भारत और पाकिस्तान में।
